Major Steven Fraser, MBE.

As you will see from the photos above (click on any one for a larger version), I went up with Steve, Jenny and the kids to see him get awarded the MBE from the Queen for his services to the country. An amazing day out, and something I doubt I will see repeated.

Very close friend and all round good egg Steve Fraser has reason to celebrate - he's off to Buckingham Palace in October as he has been awarded an MBE! It is for services rendered to the Crown in his role as an Army Officer. Ahem. I am planning a suitable celebration with a few drinkies for one and all shortly after the investiture. More details nearer the time.
